Many areas and cultures of the world have legends of werewolves and Quebec is no exception.

According to legend, the loup-garou was a man who could change into a wolf. In the 19th century, the loup-garou was said to search for victims, usually hunters and trappers, in the forests of Quebec.

There are many stories of the loup-garou in Quebec lore.. Were these stories just for entertainment, or could there be some truth to this legend?
